50 Person Enterprise Office at 221 Pentonville Road, Kings Cross

A visually striking contemporary update to a 1980s workspace in Kings Cross. A mix of private offices and shared workspaces where we've also managed to design in roof gardens at four different levels. There will be a mix of co-working space, offices, meeting rooms, a gym and a café. The space had been designed to encourage productive, flexible and collaborative working.

Working with dMFK architects, we have transformed this 1980s office building in Kings Cross with outdoor spaces and plenty of natural light. York House also has a real focus on sustainability; the existing building itself was renewed with a five-storey extension, and features innovative sustainable materials such as cross-laminated timber and perforated folded aluminium on the roof terrace. It has also received a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification for taking the buildings efficiency rating from G to A, with methods including the installation of solar panels and premium insulation.
